Simply choosing the right type of Access Control lock can provide lower energy consumption. In addition, replacing a site’s perimeter flood-lighting, street lighting or other luminaries with white-light LED units, can save up to 75 per cent compared to sodium light bulb power requirements while providing better light for CCTV cameras.
    
Replacing a DVR (digital video recorder) with a Hybrid or NVR variant, can result in savings when changing camera locations or adding new cameras by utilising the existing IT infrastructure data network/ethernet cabling and ducting.
