IP‘08 will look at how next generation networks have evolved to transport voice, data and video on one converged IT and communications infrastructure
IP’08, Europe’s leading IP and Convergence event, will offer visitors an exciting look at the latest in IP networking. Internet Protocol has risen rapidly up the corporate agenda in over the last few years as enterprises look to the huge potential of converged voice and data networks, and the benefits convergence can bring both in terms of monetary and operational efficiency. IP’08 will offer vital insight into this fast-moving industry, by bringing together the top IP and convergence technologies available on the market today, plus wrestling the issues and looking at the future of convergence world with recognised experts in the field.
Virtualisation management This year, IP‘08 itself is evolving in line with the dynamic market it represents with the launch of the new co-located VM‘08 event. VM’08 will look exclusively at Virtualisation Management - the first event of its kind to focus exclusively on this corner of the sector. The Virtualisation industry, consisting of Desktop Virtualisation, Network Virtualisation and Flexible IT, has seen huge growth in recent times. In fact, Gartner predicts that ‘Virtualisation will be the highest-impact trend changing operations and infrastructure through 2012’.
This new, exclusively virtualisation orientated exhibition will showcase all the latest virtualisation technologies, as well as address the issues currently dominating this fast-growing market. Cost-saving and capacity improvements, quality of service on a virtual network and how to manage physical network convergence in a virtualised environment are all on the agenda. Now in its third year, visitors to IP’08 and VM’08 will meet over 100 vendors, view over 500 products across two days, listen to top-level end-user keynotes. The event features an extensive exhibition floor and a comprehensive seminar programme focusing on the following four topics:
- Infrastructure and Network Management
- IP Communications Applications
- Network Security & Management
- Wireless, Mobility & Devices
With such a broad range of topics being explored at the event and a huge number of top companies showcasing their products, all under one roof, IP’08 will bring together all the different aspects of IP, allowing visitors to have a fully integrated IP experience. IP 08 will be held at Earl’s Court 2 on the 1st – 2nd October 2008. Attendance is free.
