Future Technology Industry now offers a variety of CCT Mark Awarded Media Erasing products enabling the safe disposal of media such as hard drives containing confidential data. The products range in magnetic power from the base model ‘HC2000’ which produces 5,000 Oe, to the top end model ‘COMBO’ which generates 10,000 Oe and is the most powerful degaussing product available in the world.
    
The units erase magnetic media in a matter of seconds and can cope with any hard drive size. The HC7800 model is even large enough to place a complete laptop inside – meaning there is no need to remove the hard drive. Three models are also available that can physically puncture the media thus rendering it useless. The ‘COMBO’ unit has the ability to both erase and puncture the media, providing complete destruction.
