RNIB
Supporting blind and partially sighted people

ImageRNIB is the UK's leading charity helping anyone with a sight problem. We have worked with blind and partially sighted people for 135 years with the specific aims of improving lives, increasing independence and eliminating preventable sight loss.  We provide over 60 services including business services to assist companies to meet the needs of the Disability Discrimination Act.

RNIB strives to enable organisations to improve their customer service provision for people with disabilities, by tackling the major barriers faced by individuals trying to access services.  The services we provide are based on current legislation and up-to-date best practice, much of which we have been involved in developing.

By working with RNIB, organisations will learn about the financial and social benefits of increasing their customer base through providing a more inclusive service as well as how to meet their legal obligations.

RNIB business services include providing large print, braille and audio transcription; print design reviews; access audits; signage audits; innovative technology, web site consultancy; disability awareness training, policy reviews and more.
