In-Form Consult Ltd (IFC) is an independent information and records management consultancy founded in 1987.
 IFC is internationally recognised as an authority in implementing corporate information management strategies and best practices. IFC founder Martin Waldron is the co-author of the European Commission’s Model Requirements for Electronic Records Management Systems (MoReq). IFC is author of the Local Government Classifications Scheme (LGCS) version 2 on behalf of the Records Management Society of Great Britain. Both Martin and Richard Jeffrey-Cook are regular speakers at events.

IFC clients are primarily mid- to large-size organisations in the
financial, public, engineering and energy sectors. Clients include: - Private sector – Honda of the UK Manufacturing, KBR, ADCO – Abu Dhabi, BP, Benfield Group and Zurich Financial Services
- Public sector – Invest Northern Ireland, Houses of Parliament, Metropolitan Police and Warwickshire County Council.
Examples of some of IFC’s projects include: - Information management strategy – IFC assisted an international oil and gas company develop a corporate information management strategy taking account of existing EDRM systems
- Selection of suppliers/system integrators – IFC developed the specification for a 4,000 seat ECM/EDRM system for a county council and assisted in the selection of the supplier
- Audits, classification and fileplans – IFC developed retention schedules for both technical and non-technical documents for the UK arm of an international consultancy group
- Business process analysis and re-engineering – IFC undertook a review of business processes and document management practices and developed a specification for an EDRM system
- Education and training – IFC delivered a training and development programme for 90 newly appointed information managers across a police authority.
- Project management – Assessed a failing 700 seat EDRM system at a development agency. IFC managed the project leading to the successful adoption of the system.
