Sagem Communication
Sagem Communication is a subsidiary of the French owned Sagem Group that has been established for over 80 years with consolidated sales of EUR €11 billion in 2006.  Even though Sagem is a major worldwide player in mobile phones the company is made up not only of consumer products but also defence security, aircraft equipment and aerospace propulsion. Sagem continues to leverage the powerful partnership further to the merge with Snecma to form Safran in 2005, taking the work force from 14,000 to approx 61,000 covering operations in 31 countries.

OGCbuying.solutions is an Executive Agency of the Office of Government Commerce. Sagem Communications won the Government Contract last year enabling them to supply a range of fax and multifunctional products under the contract until 2008. There are five products available on the contract that will suit all needs ranging from personal faxes to corporate multifunctional depending on the individual needs, prices ranges from £215.00 to £619.59 and are all backed up with five year on site warranty*.

Features
The multi-function printers come with a Super G3 High Speed Fax, a 33.6 kbps speed modem, a 500-page fax memory (depending on the model), a memory with a 5-year backup and a transmission speed of 2.5 seconds. Double-sided faxes may be received.

The F@x-to-mail function offers the possibility of sending scanned colour PDF documents easily and at high speed to the e-mail inbox of a selected recipient, all helping towards the environment saving on unnecessary use of paper.

Extremely practical the MF5690dn scanner can also scan, copy and fax double-sided documents automatically and simply.

With a Directory Card inserted directly into the multi-function, users can save their address books, keep the multi-function's settings and easily transfer their address book to another machine.

The MF5690dn has a life span of 150 000 pages for printing, with an average monthly volume of 2 500 pages. The paper capacity is perfectly adapted to workgroups with a maximum capacity of 760 pages: 250 pages + 10 by-pass pages and an additional 500 pages as an option.

New for 2007
The new MF5461 multifunction fax machine was added to the contract at the beginning of 2007 to gives you the option of a personal fax with a flatbed for copying, colour scanning, and pc printing, fantastic value at £216 plus vat including three-year warranty and delivery.

We recently updated the contract with the new products and thanks to this update you will now benefit from higher printing speed and more advanced functions.

These updated machines offer fantastic value and outstanding performance without an increase in the original contract price.
