This course has been designed for individuals wishing to take this professional development path.

- IT Service Continuity Management within Business Continuity programmes
- The special role of Business Impact Analysis in prioritising application recovery
- Cost effectively aligning resilience within IT infrastructures to “the business”
- IT Service Continuity Management plan creation, testing and exercising
Relevant standards, e.g. BS PAS 77 “IT Service Continuity Management – Code of Practice” and topical issues will be covered as they relate to the above objectives. NB: To thoroughly review the BS PAS 77 in extra depth, delegates are advised to stay for a 3rd day and take Automata’s BS PAS 77 EXTRA” course.
Course leaders Either Garry Poole or Jim Burtles will lead this innovative course. Both Garry and Jim are Fellows of the BCI and were founder members of the Institute. Garry was a UK Business Continuity Manager of the Year (Corporate Insurance & Risk Magazine) and subsequently Global Business Continuity director of a major telecommunications company. Jim served as BCI standards officer for six years and is currently an elected BCI Board member. Guest experts on IT Service Continuity Management will be invited to contribute to the course, each month.
