FlexAisle aisle systems – improve energy ratings
 It has been widely acknowledged that the elimination of hot and cold air mixing within data centre environments will help contribute to significant reductions in the energy demand of cooling systems.
Workspace Technology recognised the need to support real word data centre installations where there are non uniform racks very often from multiple vendors. To address this need Workspace Technology successfully introduced the FlexAisle® aisle containment product range earlier this year. The FlexAisle® system uniquely provides the ability to support a mix and match of server and communication rack technology from multiple vendors within a single rack cluster.
FlexAisle® has proved to be very practical within existing data centres helping reduce over cooling and associated costs whilst improving room PUE energy efficiency ratings. The system not only supports the most common, cold aisle corridor arrangement but will also support hot aisle return plenum, and hot aisle containment configurations.
